Prepare a simple launch

  1. Review the campaign and payment checklist, then publish when you are ready.
  2. Open the published link in a signed-out browser to check what a supporter sees.
  3. Ask a small group of people who already know your cause to read the page and share honest feedback.
  4. Share the live campaign link through the sharing tools on your campaign page, or copy it into your message.

Start with people who know the cause

Explain why you are asking them, what the money will do and how they can help. A personal message is often more useful than repeatedly posting a link with no context.

Invite your committee, volunteers or community to share the same published campaign link. You can also ask local groups, newsletters, workplaces and relevant businesses for permission to share it.

Adapt a message to your campaign

For example

We are raising [amount and currency] for [specific purpose]. You can help by sponsoring a square from [minimum price] on our live grid: [published link]. If you cannot sponsor, sharing it with someone who cares about [cause] would help too.

Keep sharing useful progress

Show what has changed: a milestone, a thank-you, an answer to a common question or a real outcome. Give supporters a reason to revisit the campaign without repeating the same appeal every day.

From your dashboard, open the campaign's Promotion toolkit for messages, the event screen and QR posters. Use campaign Updates for news. Choose an appropriate frequency and thank supporters without publishing private information.

Review your analytics after each activity. If people visit but do not sponsor, ask someone to try the journey and tell you what was unclear. A low conversion rate alone does not tell you why someone left.
