Choose a useful date range
Open analytics from your campaign dashboard and choose the date range you want to review. Compare activity around a real promotion or update, rather than changing several things at once.
Read each metric's label: activity within a date range and lifetime campaign totals answer different questions. Older records may not have the same historical detail as newer tracking.
What the numbers can tell you
Views indicate attention, not a promise that each view came from a different potential supporter. Share clicks show use of tracked sharing controls; someone copying a link elsewhere may not be counted as a share.
Sponsored squares and confirmed payments are stronger outcomes than a checkout being opened. Gross fundraising totals are not net payouts; refunds, disputes and payment costs must be considered separately.
Visits without sponsorships do not prove that checkout failed. People may be reading, comparing or planning to return. Combine trends with explicit feedback and support reports.
Make one useful change
- Choose one question, such as whether the minimum price is clear.
- Check the campaign on a phone and ask a willing supporter to describe anything confusing.
- Improve the wording, image or sharing message that relates to that question.
- Review the next comparable period and keep a note of what you changed.
